Delighted that my photograph "Room With A View" was awarded second place in the Daily Life & People section of the annual AIB Press Photographer Association Of Ireland Photojournalism Awards in Dublin recently.

The judges remarked " A striking image graphically illustrating life for large families living in the restricted space of a caravan. Great thought and imagination used to create this image" The photograph was taken as part of an assignment for the Clare Champion in November last, when the childrens' school principal publically expressed concern for the family's well-being.

Also my two other photographs "Light of Bygone Days" , depicting the first baptism on Canon Island for over 500 years and "The Clare Shout" depicting a young Clare hurling fanatic, were both included in the top 100 photos of the year.

Thank You For Visiting!
